Now that the Clippers trade is dead, the question is if Rivers wants to oversee the Celtics' rebuilding process. It looks like the answer is no, but Ainge will discuss it with his coach. Yahoo's Adrian Wojnarowski notes that the two parties are "not at odds" despite the drama of the last week. When Rivers signed a five-year, $35 million contract in 2011, he had to know that Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce would be done before then.
Chris Andersen is expected to be back in the rotation for Tuesday's Game 6.
South Florida Sun-Sentinel
Andersen did not play at all in Games 4 or 5 as Mike Miller started and Udonis Haslem came off the bench. With the Heat back in front of their home fans and needing a big spark as they face elimination, expect Birdman to get the call for some energy off the bench. Coach Erik Spoelstra still hasn't revealed his starting five.
Maryland C Alex Len (ankle surgery) has been cleared to walk without crutches.

Len underwent ankle surgery in early May and was slapped with a 4-6 month rehab timetable. Despite this, he's gaining buzz as the possible choice for the Cavs at No. 1 overall. He's bigger than Nerlens Noel, and has a more refined offensive game. Any positive health reports on Len are big for his stock ahead of the June 27 draft.
