ImpactThe Brewers looked like they were going to get out of a two-on, no-out jam when Anthony Gose bunted into a forceout and Darin Mastroianni struck out. Encarnacion saved the day, though, with a laser into the left field seats. The longball was his 26th of the season, and he also singled earlier in the day. With a .281/.370/.603 batting line and 69 RBI to go along with his 26 bombs, Encarnacion will certainly be part of the All-Star game in a couple weeks.

ImpactEncarnacion was impressive this spring, erasing any concerns about lingering wrist problems by hitting .328 with three homers and six doubles in 64 at-bats. However, since the games started counting, he's gone 6-for-37 with a surprising 12 strikeouts. Last year, he whiffed a total of 62 times in 530 at-bats. We're still not especially concerned, but it'd be nice to see him get it going soon.
